The Unofficial Blog: Part III

By Patrick & Bridget

Okay, now we've heard of Southern hospitality but this entry will give it new meaning. Dad, Conor, and Matty bought Outerbanks T-shirts at the Cape Hatteras lighthouse gift shop. A few days later in search of a clean shirt, Dad emptied the bag and found two scraps of paper in the bottom of the bag. Now, you might think that the scraps were just ordinary pieces of paper. However, ordinary pieces of paper do not have phone numbers on them!

Before we tell you what was on the "love notes", we should inform you that Conor hasn't shaved since Day 2 (that's a week and a half!) and now has very sketchy scruff on his face. In the gift shop, there were two teenage girls working behind the cash register who we thought were just ordinary teenagers working their butts off on a summer job. What is most disturbing is that these two girls actually put love notes in the shopping bag of the so called "cute boys".

The weirdo who must have thought that the forest on Conor's chin is cute, wrote to the one in the white shirt, "Call me cutie" with a heart exclamation point. His note was peppered with hearts. Ugh! In the corner, "Hot island girls" is written. The note is signed "Jax" which we assume is Jacqueline but you never know with teenage girls. Matty's note was a little less desperate because Kira wrote a short sentence fragment to him. If anyone wants to try and persuade Conor and Matty to actually call them, we have the numbers. Hopefully their Daddy won't answer it!

P.s. Would you give your number to these two?!
