Our morning was filled with fun and sand. We woke up to a breakfast of cereal and pop tarts, and then all of us (besides Molly) tied our running shoes on and filled up water bottles. After we all had finished running, we went swimming in the ocean. The water was nice and cold, but the waves were miniscule. The beach was very fun but it left us with sand all over our bodies so the beach showers at the end of the boardwalk came in handy. That would have been one bad drive if we were all covered in sand.
The drive to Jacksonville was full of shocked faces and waves. However, those actions were not coming from inside the RV, but from passing cars in the lane next to us. Over the trip, to lighten up the dullness of the drive, Conor, Matthew and I made faces out the window to passersby. The wide variety of reactions we got ranged from pointing, confused faces, laughing, or just blank stares at the crazy kid that has his face smashed against the window in the “1800RV4Rent” vehicle driving by in the next lane.
Since tomorrow is the 4th of July, a Sunday, and a long driving
We’re looking forward to sleeping with the windows open and the sea breeze on the Outer Banks tomorrow.
